About me

After completing a course of university study and qualifying as a teacher of English and Spanish (beginning in 1992) at the University of Bonn, I began my Master’s degree in Spanish, English and History in 1996 finishing in 2003.
I began translating shortly after commencing my studies and ultimately chose translation as my profession.

I began translating technical and literary texts while I was still a student.
I now specialise in translating texts involving technical, medical, tourism or business subjects.

But: translation calls for an insatiable curiosity about language and linguistic structures. Language is alive! I always look forward to new linguistic challenges.
